Supporting mothers and babies through every stage of their journey

Pregnancy, birth and the first months of life bring many important changes for both mother and baby.
This approach is based on a global understanding of the mother–baby journey, integrating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, infant feeding and early development.

By combining osteopathy, rehabilitation and training in lactation, Aurélie supports mothers and babies at every stage, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals when needed in Monaco, Antibes & across the French Riviera.

Pregnancy brings about significant physiological and physical changes in a woman's body within a short period.
Osteopathy is a safe and effective way to support the body during this transformative time, helping it adapt to these changes.
By promoting better alignment, circulation and balance, osteopathy can make each trimester more comfortable and prepare the body for a smoother birthing process.

Postpartum & Mummy MOT

Postpartum osteopathy supports a mother’s body during recovery after childbirth.

After birth, some women may experience discomfort or tension related to pregnancy, delivery or the physical demands of caring for a newborn.
Gentle manual techniques may help support mobility and relieve tension during this recovery phase.

The Mummy MOT, a specialist postnatal assessment, evaluates your breathing, the pelvic floor, your abdominal muscles and posture to provide a structured postpartum recovery support.

Osteopathy & Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is a natural process and it can sometimes come with challenges for both mother and baby.

In some situations, these difficulties may be linked to tension or discomfort in the baby’s body, which can affect their ability to latch or feed comfortably. This may also be seen in a bottle-feeding baby.

Osteopathy offers a gentle approach aimed at supporting the baby’s comfort and mobility. It also helps assess the mechanics of feeding and identify any areas of tension that could influence feeding, while forming part of a broader, multidisciplinary approach to breastfeeding support when needed.
With additional training in lactation, Aurélie offers support adapted to the needs of each mother and baby.

Paediatric Osteopathy
Paediatric osteopathy is a specialised field focusing on the gentle and non-invasive treatment of newborns and infants.
Tensions can develop in the womb, especially in the pelvis, or during the birthing process, particularly if instruments like forceps or a vacuum are used.
These tensions may lead to various issues and osteopathic treatment can help alleviate them, promoting better health and comfort for your baby.
