Aurélie is an osteopath based on the French Riviera, with a particular focus on women's health, postpartum recovery and paediatric care.

Her work is centred on supporting women and babies through the physical changes that occur during pregnancy, childbirth and the early months of life, with an emphasis on comfort, mobility and functional recovery.

Background and Clinical Training

Aurélie first completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a specialisation in Athletic Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal.

This training follows a sports medicine model and focuses on the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. It provides a strong foundation in injury management and rehabilitation, allowing her to support patients beyond treatment through guided recovery.

She then completed a Master’s degree in Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy in London.

Osteopathy is based on the principle that structure and function are closely linked, and that improving the body’s mobility and balance can support overall health and wellbeing. (AT Still)

A Focus on Maternal and Infant Care

Aurélie has developed a particular interest in supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum recovery and early infant development.

She regularly works with:

• pregnant women experiencing musculoskeletal discomfort
• mothers recovering after childbirth
• babies presenting with feeding difficulties, digestive discomfort or body tension

She has completed additional training in lactation with The Centre for Breastfeeding education & research London, allowing her to better understand the relationship between body tension, physiology of feeding and both maternal and infant comfort during this journey.

This supports a more integrated approach, particularly in collaboration with lactation consultants, midwives and other healthcare professionals.

Postpartum Rehabilitation and Mummy MOT

Aurélie has completed additional training in postpartum rehabilitation, including the Mummy MOT assessment.

The Mummy MOT is a specialist postnatal evaluation focusing on the recovery of the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and overall posture following childbirth. It includes a comprehensive assessment and is typically followed by personalised rehabilitation guidance.

This further training allows Aurélie to deepen her understanding of postnatal recovery and to better support women in regaining strength, stability and confidence after birth.

An Individualised and Holistic Approach

Aurélie combines osteopathic treatment with a patient-centred approach, taking into account each individual’s history, lifestyle and needs.

She has also completed training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which supports her ability to guide patients through recovery with education, reassurance and practical advice.

Each consultation is tailored to support both immediate comfort and long-term wellbeing.
